It has few contraindications and side effects; it is easy to use when you have in-depth knowledge of each one’s types, objectives, and application methods.
Is this a new therapy, or it has been for a while?
In Egypt, the priests treated the body and the mind; the papyri and the hieroglyphs show manipulation techniques and massages, which were applied along with other therapeutic measures.
The word massage can be derived from:

- In Greek MASSEIN, which means to knead, rub.
- In Hebrew MASHIACH, which meaning is to feel, feel and in.
- French MASSER, which means to knead, give a massage.
In different languages, its meanings do not differ much. For thousands of years, it has been associated with “magical” healing properties through maneuvers applied by a therapist on the patient.
