DEFINITION OF ENNEAGRAM.

The word Enneagram comes from the Greek ennea (nine) and gramma (stroke). In geometry, an enneagram is a nine-pointed star. Each point is a personality type, an enneatype, a typical profile of the nine enneagrams.

The word personality derives from the Latin “personam”, a term that designated the mask with which people covered their faces.

DECIPHERING THE NINE-POINTED STAR.

The Enneagram has nine basic types of personalities.

THOUGHTS: they are the functions of perception. We need them to guide us and feel safe.
